    Job Summary

    Pyyne is seeking a Microsoft 365 Specialist for a contractor position to lead a large-scale migration from Google Workspace (Gmail) to Microsoft 365 for one of our enterprise clients in the insurance sector.

    This role is pivotal to ensuring a seamless and secure transition of email, calendars, contacts, and collaboration tools to the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Google-to-Microsoft migrations and be comfortable working in enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders and complex dependencies.

    Key Responsibilities

    Migration Planning & Execution:

    • Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of the Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 migration.
    • Analyze existing Gmail and Google Drive environments to gömü migration scope, approach, and timeline.
    • Execute migrations of mail, calendars, contacts, and files using best-in-class tools and methodologies.
    • Utilize tools such as BitTitan MigrationWiz or Google Workspace Migration for Microsoft Exchange (GWMME).

    Cloud Integration & Configuration:

    • Set up and configure Microsoft 365 tenant, including Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams.
    • Establish user accounts, mail flow rules, retention policies, and security configurations.
    • Manage identity synchronization with Azure Active Directory and configure appropriate access policies.

    Troubleshooting & Support:

    • Identify and resolve data geçirme issues, permission conflicts, and post-migration inconsistencies.
    • Serve as an escalation point during and after the migration to ensure minimal business disruption.
    • Document procedures and provide training or handoff support to internal IT teams.

    Stakeholder Communication:

    • Work closely with client IT teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the project.
    • Provide regular updates, status reports, and risk assessments during the project lifecycle.

    Qualifications

    Experience & Skills:

    • 3+ years of experience in enterprise IT, including at least 2 successful migrations from Google Workspace to O365.
    • In-depth knowledge of:
      • Exchange Online and O365 configuration.
      • Google Workspace admin console and architecture.
      • Identity and access management via Azure AD.
      • Migration tools like BitTitan, GWMME, or CloudMigrator.
    • Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
    • Strong understanding of security, compliance, and email archiving best practices in Microsoft 365.

    Soft Skills:

    • Ability to lead and manage large-scale projects independently.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with a user-focused mindset.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
