Records management
Classifying and accurately indexing records in data management tool;
Labeling physical records;
Retrieving boxes from offsite storage o Popping the lids of boxes;
o-Review and process contents;
Using a handheld bar-code scanner to track the location and movement of files and boxes;
Using a barcode printer to print and affix labels;
Maintaining daily productivity spreadsheet to monitor project activity and workload;
Distributing requested files or documents (if needed);
Inter-filing documents into existing files (if needed);
Processing active/inactive files or closed files in preparation for transfer to offsite storage (as needed);
Researching information in other client databases (if needed);
Other Duties as Assigned.
Minimum Candidate Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent ;
Minimum two (2) years work experience, with at least one (1) year of records management or file room experience;
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, especially Excel;
Detail oriented candidate ;
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of personnel;
Quick learner, dependable and ability to solve problems (All, especially important for project lead);
Project management experience preferred for project lead;
Strong initiative with an interest in continual process improvement.
